Gold Leaf는 금박, 금팩 또는 Gold Foil로 불려지기도 한다. 그 쓰임새는 너무나도 다양하여 이루 열거하기도 어려우나, 불상이나 탱화 절간의 외관장식 등 불교용품에 가장 많이 소요되고, 일반 고급인쇄물 고급술병의 상표, 태투, 한복의 금빛 무늬 등에 이용된다.
